HR Consultant required for a 3-6 month contract with a public sector agency

**Your new company**

You will be working for an organisation who are a leader and innovator in their field. In this 3-6 month contact you will be paid an hourly rate or $55p/h + super.

**Your new role**

Responsible for a diverse range of Human Resource (HR) functions including providing general HR advice, coaching and consultancy services to support managers and staff. Work proactively with the HR Manager to drive the implementation of strategic, transformational and cultural workforce initiatives across the organisation.
- Provide high level and timely advice, support, guidance and coaching to staff, management and executive in relation to Human Resource (HR), Industrial Relations (IR) and workforce functions.
- Undertake organisational change and workforce redesign processes inclusive of consultation, managing excess staff, and completing grading and job evaluation activities for positions in the portfolio

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent work experience in workforce management, employee relations, employment law, or other relevant field, in a large and diverse organisation.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with customers through highly developed interpersonal skills, ability to influence and sound coaching skills.
