**About the Role**:
Based at our Perth office, the People, Culture and Development Advisor will make part of the People and Culture team and provide the business with generalist HR support as well as maintaining a driven workforce that is committed to the company values and success.
You will provide strategic support to business leaders in making effective human resources decisions influencing industrial relations and employee relations and driving the Enscope culture.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited
- Be the first point of contact for all HR / P&C related enquires.
- Provide HR advice, support and coaching to the management team, leaders, and employees.
- Ensure policies and HR operating procedures are compliant with regulations.
- Keep an overview of Industrial Relations issues and take part in HR related R&D.
- Assist the leadership team with employee relations issues, grievance management and performance management.
- Oversee and assist with onboarding and offboarding processes including the preparation and issue of Letters of Offer and follow up with appropriate administration.
- Work with Talent Acquisition Manager to facilitate the development and implementation of diversity and retention strategies.
- Ensure position descriptions are up to date and accurate.
- Assist with 482 visa and immigration processes.
- Review and approve Enscope CVs.
- Coordinate and manage Performance Development Review (PDR) processes and follow up on PDR outcomes.
- Drive Learning & Development projects and ensure L&D administration is done accurately.
- Coordinate and manage Graduate and Junior Development programs.
- Coordinate and attend career and employment fairs.
- Competency Matrix management and overview.
- Work to maintain a positive working culture.
- Employee Exit interview analysis and reporting.
- Assist Talent Acquisition Manager with recruitment and phone screening from time to time.
**Essential Qualities and Background**
- Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years HR generalist experience.
- Knowledge of the Fair Work Act & National Employment Standards.
- Strong coaching and mentoring skills.
- Proven experience working with employment legislation, investigations, and performance case management.
- Ability to create and collaborate effective and respectful working relationships with leaders and employees at all levels of the business.
- Demonstrated organisation skills, including the ability to set priorities, manage time and plan work to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work as an effective member of a team, as well as the ability to exercise independence and judgement when required.
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
- Prior experience working in an engineering environment is desirable
