**About the role**
Ipswich Libraries is a dynamic, innovative, and growing provider of a range of library and information services and products to the community.
As Library Programs Team Leader, you will play a key role within the Library Programs Team responsible for the development and delivery of high quality and inclusive library programs and initiatives that support literacy, learning and engagement across the Ipswich region.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Lead a small team in library programming
- Develop and implement library programs and events
- Foster partnerships and collaborations
- Deliver diverse programs (e.g., Baby Rhyme Time, Coding, STEAM)
- Engage with community members of all ages
- Create marketing content and support resources
- Maintain a customer-focused approach

**About you**
- Recognised qualification in Information and Library Studies (Librarian), or relevant tertiary qualification, and/or substantial experience
- A current Queensland C class driver’s licence
- Working with Children Check - Issue of Blue Card and Positive Notice Letter (issued by the Queensland Government) or Exemption Card
- The ability to be resilient, agile, and a supportive team member
- A passion for community engagement with individuals and groups of all ages

A medical is required with the attributes to undertake a range of manual handling tasks which may include setting up for events, moving trolleys, loading, and unloading vehicles and driving a range of Council’s vehicles.

This is a permanent full-time position, level 5, with a salary commencing at $97,827 plus 12.5% superannuation.
