Facilities Manager

You will manage all of Sky News’s facilities across Australia including our properties, leases, fleet, parking management plans, travel contracts and stakeholder engagement. You will ensure our facilities are maintained to a high standard to ensure a safe and pleasant work environment for our staff.

***Role Responsibilities**
- Car leasing and fleet management, maintenance, logbooks and FBT, allocate infringements
- Parking allocation, management, cost management - Manage the relationship with our travel providers and support our staff with the travel booking process
- Oversee cleaning and maintenance service contracts at our facilities to ensure a safe and clean work environment for staff
- Liaise with our WHS team to ensure fire wardens and first aid officers are appointed and trained and keep our emergency procedures up to date
- Provide support with ordering and invoicing for day-to-day business needs and assist with the new vendor process

**Skills and Experience**
- Experience in fleet or facilities management
- Experience managing budgets
- Prior work managing contractor arrangements including cleaning, mechanical, travel, and/ or security, etc
- The ability to manage and delegate tasks efficiently
- Strong administration skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to conduct minor maintenance tasks and repairs preferred but not essential (moving furniture, carpentry, plumbing, mechanical repairs, painting, etc)
- Good commercial understanding of tendering and service levels required from external contractors
- Readiness to carry out any other duties required to achieve key business objectives, including working outside of standard business hours on occasion
