About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Facilities Manager to lead the maintenance and operational functions of our campus. This pivotal role ensures our facilities remain safe, functional, and welcoming for students, staff, and visitors. You will oversee all aspects of building maintenance, compliance, and contractor management, driving efficiency and excellence in our physical environment.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Develop and implement a preventative maintenance program for buildings, grounds, and equipment.
  • Lead and supervise the Facilities team, ensuring high standards of work and safety.
  • Oversee budgets for maintenance and capital works, including procurement and cost control.
  • Ensure compliance with WHS legislation and College safety protocols.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance schedules, inspections, and asset management.
  • Respond promptly to urgent maintenance issues and coordinate effective solutions.

What We're Looking For

We are seeking an experienced facilities professional with strong leadership skills and a solid understanding of building systems, maintenance practices, and safety compliance. You'll be highly organised, solutions-focused, and confident in managing budgets, contractors, and competing priorities. Clear communication, collaboration, and a proactive approach are essential.
