**National Billing Operations Manager**

This is a newly created role that will be integral to optimising the Billing functional performance at Healthscope. This role will identify end-to-end performance improvement opportunities, and work with stakeholders and business partners to build and execute initiatives geared at continuous improvement

Healthscope's Centralised Billing and Collections Hub is looking to employ an experienced National Billing Operations Manager to join their busy team. In this challenging role, you will be responsible for overseeing and driving a continuous improvement focus for billing nationally. Overseeing and managing multiple teams, you will utilise your leadership experience to continue to grow and develop our billers.

**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee daily billing operations to ensure timely and accurate invoicing
- Build and foster strong working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders that influence the performance of the Billing function, as well as Admission-to-Cash (A2C) more holistically_ _
- Implement a quality framework that continues to improve billing accuracy with a focus on revenue assurance
- Evaluate and recommend Billing RPA enhancements that continue to increase the output / % processed by the billing bots.
- Ensure key metrics / KPI’s for Billing staff are met and reported on a daily, weekly and monthly basis as required.
- Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement to optimize cash flow

**Criteria**:

- Relevant Billing Management experience (5+ years)
- Managed KPI’s (HR, quality and financial)
- Lead and managed a frontline team, including, guiding, developing and providing positive and constructive feedback to team members
- Established and managed relationships with key stakeholders, networks and customers (e.g. VMOs, patients, Health Funds) and from diverse backgrounds
- Coordinated resource allocation (e.g. rostering and skill mix)
- Driven safety accountabilities and expectations (e.g. patients/customers and team members)
- Implemented process improvement
- Participated in accreditation
- Implemented a significant change (desirable)
