Public Sector People are currently recruiting for an Asset Data Officer to join Logan City Council. Our client is seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join this busy department to provide high level Asset Data Management support.
**Duties will include**:
- Assist the Senior Project Business Analyst with coordinating affect project management in completing data capture efficiently.
- Assist with updating asset data to confirm correct to-be structure is correct and accurate.
- Assist GIS mapping in to determine alignment with asset data specifications.
- Undertake data cleansing where data is wrong or missed.
- Complete asset condition ratings on assessment of hard assets in the field in alignment to framework.
- Provide analysis regarding activities for improvement to systems and future planning as requested.
- Determine who is responsible for the land recognition and develop process with other branches.
- Complete audit process on required assets for regular assessment.
- Analyse and assess current useful life against visual inspection of assets during data verification. Report on assets requiring
escalation to an engineer’s assessment.
**Skills required**:
- Well-developed research, analytical and problem solving skills.
Demonstrated experience in managing, analysing and reporting on large amounts of data to achieve a specified outcome.
- Demonstrated understanding of asset management principles.
Demonstrated ability to produce concise and accurate reports and documentation.
- Formal qualifications or relevant experience in data management, asset management, or parks landscaping is highly desired.
- Demonstrated effective communication skills including the ability to influence, develop and maintain effective relationships with
technical and non-technical stakeholders.
