The Role

Lead and inspire a team to create and deliver Marketing & PR initiatives for Mimco’s campaigns and brand activity.

Key Responsibilities
- Working closely with the Head of Marketing, develop the marketing communications plan for seasonal and brand campaigns to deliver on commercial and brand strategy, targeting our key customer segments and optimizing their customer experience
- Lead the team to develop the campaign brief and content requirements for the graphics and content team to define campaign and creative assets required for the channel communication plans
- Identify key marketing and product messages for campaigns
- Review creative and content as it evolves to ensure it delivers on marketing strategy and plans
- Lead the team to liaise with key stakeholders across VM, retail & merchandise to share marketing plans and align on approach and requirements
- Develop and lead the PR and influencer strategy to deliver against market objectives and brand positioning
- Maintain relationships with key media, editors, influencers and industry contacts to ensure ongoing editorial support across all markets
- Contribute to development of the social media strategy working closely with digital marketing and creative team
- Lead the development of marketing, events and PR plans to maximise Mimco’s exposure and sales growth in David Jones channels
- Excellent understanding and knowledge of the media landscape and fashion PR and marketing principles
- Experience having led PR and marketing strategies ideally within a retail of fashion industry
- Campaign strategy and communication planning experience
- Well developed time management, analytical and organization skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong leadership experience with the ability to motivate and retail a highly skilled team
