**About the Role**

The role is part of the infrastructure support team responsible for the management of all our infrastructure managed customers. These customers rely on us to keep their Infrastructure running and meeting their needs which in turn allows the customer to focus on running their business. Infrastructure Management is one of our key products and is critical to the success of the business. The primary role is to deliver exceptional customer service while managing and maintaining our customer environments and providing support and mentoring to Infrastructure Support Engineers and Technicians within the Infrastructure Support team. The role requires a good range of technical capabilities in line with technologies we manage for our customers as well as the ability to troubleshoot issues and leading proper root cause analysis to drive down the re-occurrence of similar incidents. This is a hybrid role open to multiple locations within Australia & reports to the Enterprise Services Manager

**Main Duties**
- Managing customer infrastructures - monitoring, reporting, and maintaining Azure Infrastructures as required
- Provide 3rd level technical Azure infrastructure support
- Identify risks as part of on-boarding activities around Azure technical solutions and provide recommendations for improvements and enhancements to customers.
- Communicate effectively with the service delivery function and senior management.
- Leverage toolsets to create and maintain regular reporting on Azure environments, including incident management, service requests, performance metrics, and capacity planning.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for customer environments
- Perform proper root cause analysis and fixes to drive down the re-occurrence of similar incidents.
- Perform maintenance, advance troubleshooting, and root cause analysis of Azure issues as and when required.
- Mentor and coach other Level 2, Level 3 and IT Operations Team members in developing appropriate Azure skills
- To provide after hours on-call assistance and/or escalation on a rotating basis

**About You**

To be successful in this role, you would possess key skills & experience as below
- Minimum 5-10 years’ experience in an IT Infrastructure Support role, preferably including experience in a Managed Services Environment
- Minimum 3 years’ experience specializing in Azure products and services
- Experience in providing technical advice required for the improvement of Azure Platform configurations
- Hands on experience in designing, building and implementing Microsoft solutions based around Azure
- Certified in MS Azure Architect Solutions Architect Expert
- Experience managing Azure environments for large to enterprise customers.
- Hands on experience in designing, building and implementing Microsoft solutions based around Azure.
- Knowledge and understanding of foundational active directory, security, and networking principles
- Guide monitoring and management infrastructure for both availability and performance management
- Strong understanding and demonstrated experience in the use of following technologies in Azure;
- VM Instance Management
- Storage Management
- Backup & Site Recovery Management
- Identity and Access Management (Azure AD / ADFS / AAD Connect)
- Subscription, Security Centre & Cost Management
- Windows Virtual Desktops (WVD) Service and Image Management.
- FSLogix Profile Management.
- Azure Virtual Networks, Express Routes, Load Balancers, NSG.
- Key Vault Management
- Application Gateway and Web Application Firewalls
- Azure Web Apps Management
- Azure SQL PAAS Management
- Azure Automation / Runbook Management
