**Who are we looking for?**

Queensland University of Technology (QUT) is seeking a Continuous Improvement Analyst to join Finance Business Solutions, Chancellery Division.

Finance Business Solutions (FBS) is embarking on a Finance Transformation. FBS is looking for a Continuous Improvement Analyst who ideally has Transformation and Business Change experience to join their friendly and dynamic team. This position is responsible for the development and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives using proven methods and tools.

**About the Chancellery Division**

Chancellery Division is responsible for strategy, including Indigenous strategy, government relations and policy, assurance and risk, international, marketing and communications, and business development. The Chancellery Division is led by the Vice-Chancellor and President.

**About Finance Business Solutions**

Within the Chancellery, Finance Business Solutions (FBS) is responsible for a range of business functions to facilitate the ongoing financial and planning viability of the university in realising QUT’s strategic aims and objectives, whilst maintaining a customer centric approach when engaging with the university community, industry and government.

**What you need to succeed**

Your expertise and initiative, combined with your ability to work as an excellent team player will be vital to your success in this role.

You will demonstrate:

- Education, training/skills equivalent to a postgraduate qualification with extensive relevant experience.
- Proven experience in delivering a planned and comprehensive approach to implementing business change through process improvement and business analysis methods and tools (structured analysis and design, process mapping etc.)
- Demonstrated track record in strategic thinking, process development and impact to provide strategic value in an environment of continuous improvement.
- Excellent collaboration, interpersonal skills and communication to facilitate new relationships and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse professional group to build strong and beneficial partnerships with key stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to be able to identify opportunities to lead and implement process automation technology.
- Ability to conceptualise, develop and review major policies, objectives and strategies involving working with groups with conflicting interests to ensure the service improvement outcomes.
- Proven effective leadership skills which drive teamwork, high performance and excellence in service provision.
