**About the role**
We are currently looking for casuals to join our Customer Service team. Our Customer Service team are the face of MCEC providing our patrons and the public with directions, general information, cloaking and ushering at events.
**About You**
We're looking for people who are proactive, confident, and friendly.
You do need to befit and healthy as you should expect to be on your feet for most of your shift, including walking up and down flights of stairs and across our venue. Our events may involve strobe lighting and pyrotechnics, so you also need to be comfortable with these environments.
Our business operates 7 days a week, with shifts starting as early as 6am or finishing late at night. Broad flexibility for shifts is preferred.
**Responsibilities**:
- Maintain a sound understanding of Customer Service procedures to ensure the resolution of einquiries complaints and rrequestsfor services are completed promptly for both internal and external Customers
- Maintain awareness and excellent understanding of all events scheduled in the venue, including Plenary Events, and surrounding precinct including local tourism services, special offers ,and promotions
- Provide best practice customer service to patrons, delegates, and organisers, including proactively providing direction and assistance to patrons, and acting as a point of contact for organisers of events.
- Proactively share information with other MCEC departments to maintain a highly integrated standard of Customer Service
- Provide administrative support to other departments as directed by the Customer Service Coordinator

- To be considered you must be available to attend a short in-person interview on Thursday 2nd of February or Friday the 3rd of February sometime between 09.30 and 16.30
- And if successful be available to attend induction and training on Monday 13th February from 09.30 to 15.00 hrs.
