About the role

We are looking for passionate and enthusiastic Casual Event F&B Attendants to join the Showtime Event Group team in various venues in Melbourne. As a casual employee, you will be responsible for providing exceptional food and beverage service at our dynamic events. This is a great opportunity to be part of a vibrant and fast-paced hospitality environment.

What you'll be doing

  • Providing friendly and attentive table service to event guests
  • Preparing and serving food and beverages in a professional and timely manner
  • Maintaining a clean and organised work area
  • Assisting with event set up and pack down as required
  • Adhering to all food safety and liquor licensing regulations
  • Working collaboratively with the broader events team to deliver an exceptional guest experience

We operate events our of the following venues;

  • Showtime Events Centre
  • Cargo Hall
  • Aerial
  • Polly Woodside
  • Sealife Aquarium
  • Melbourne Town Hall
  • Whitten Oval
  • Rippon Lea Estate
  • Hellenic Museum

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A passion for food, drinks and providing exceptional service
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including evenings and weekends
  • Current RSA certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • A volunteer working with children check is required - or willingness to obtain one.
  • Ability to carry 3 plates
  • Can pour wine like a superstars.
  • Available to work late nights and weekends.
  • Immaculate presentation
