Job Description Summary

Exciting opportunity for a HSEQ professional to join Service Stream’s Group Safety Team, supporting our company to meet its Safety, Environment, Quality and client obligations
About the Role

Nature of position: Max term Contract, Full Time

Location: Gisborne, VIC

Reporting Line: National HSEQ Manager

Key Responsibilities
- Providing support to our site project team, field and subcontractor work force to ensure our company meets its Safety, Environment, Quality and client obligations
- Providing specialist HSEQ advice and support to the business
- Coaching and advising management and workers on meeting their work health and safety duties
- Supporting management and workers in the implementation of HSEQ policies, systems, programs, and initiatives and meeting local legislative requirements
- Promoting a safe and positive work culture and role model safety leadership principles
- Project field inspections and investigations, verifying HSEQ management plans
- Assist business management in continually improving the company’s risk management capabilities
- Compiling business related HSEQ performance reports

Skills and Experience
- Demonstrated experience in an HSEQ role with a strong quality background, highly regarded
- Working knowledge of Legislation, Standards and Codes and ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and AS 4801 standards
- Prior experience managing Safety, Environment and Quality requirements in contruction or civils environments is highly regarded
- Experience in auditing, investigation, safety, environmental and quality reporting
- Excellent communication and people management skills
Experience with subcontractor management
- Telecommunications, energy, or other utilities industry experience desirable
- Relevant qualification in WHS/OH&S, Quality and / or Environment or Engineering/Science
