**About the Role**:
We are looking for a talented HR Business Partner to join the management team, overseeing and administering a wide range of diverse HR responsibilities across multi-state locations, based out of our Eriez Australia head office in Epping, VIC. The HRBP will provide hands on support to the management team in areas including but not limited to talent acquisition, employee development, introductory employee relations and compliance with local, state and federal laws.

**Responsibilities**:

- Facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions, collaborating with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required
- Prepares contracts of employment, offer letters and other contractual paperwork as required, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation
- Conducts background checks and employee eligibility verifications
- Creates and implements employee programs to drive retention, engagement and aid workforce planning
- Implements and manages a performance management and appraisal system
- Acts as a key contributor for organisational announcements
- Support the management team in the appropriate handling of employee relations issues
- Champions change and leverages change management tools to support local and global strategic initiatives
- Acts as a point of contact for employment-related enquiries from internal and external stakeholders
- Develop, produce and maintain employment policies, procedures and management guidance notes

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field; (Essential)
- Several years of demonstratable experience in Human Resources (Essential) ideally within a manufacturing environment (Desirable)
- Broad knowledge of relevant labour and employment laws
- A proactive self-starter, able to hit the ground running
- A relevant HR qualification would be ideal, but not necessary
- **Unlimited Australian working Visa is required. We are unable to provide sponsorship for this role**
