**The Designer**

As a Designer, you will create end-to-end commercially ready UX and UI design, from ideation into concepting, to testing and final delivery, influencing a quality experience and interaction for our product.

Working as part of a collaborative team you will liaise with Product and Technology teams and the customer whilst coordinating and maintaining tactical product direction for multiple products simultaneously to meet organisation goals, customer requirements and industry needs.

Your contribution will be imperative to drive our ongoing success. In an Agile environment, you will:

- Create user experience and interfaces that are beautiful and usable, with intuitive interactive elements
- Design and conduct user research, user interviews and prototyping initiatives through various methods such as surveys, interviews usability testing. Develop personas, user journeys and flows to simplify complex scenarios and create user-centric designs
- Initiate and lead the creation of first design systems, developing best practice for scaling and consistency across products
- Use data to inform and influence product development
- Champion discovery and design thinking
- Run design critiques and usability testing to identify and solve design problems, improve quality and consistency across the platform
- Provide support to development and test teams, from a UX/UI perspective
- Recommend industry best practices and tools by staying abreast of developments in UX/UI
- Contribute to strong and enduring customer relationships

**Life at FSCO**

We value face to face collaboration as it enhances strong interpersonal relationships and teamwork, so you will need be the kind of person who likes to work onsite (with flexible hours) in a comfortable well equipped space. Our office is centrally located in Brisbane’s CBD, with an indoor and outdoor breakout space with a BBQ, outdoor seating and shared picnic tables. We enjoy a Friday lunch as a team each week and the kitchen is generously stocked with great coffee and snacks.

You’ll be working with some of the greatest minds in blockchain technology and decentralised finance, all while contributing to better sustainability initiatives and supporting the agriculture industry.

**What you’ll need**

We understand that UX/UI Design is very broad, working across various disciplines including psychology, information architecture, visual design, and interaction design. We understand that you will likely have a real strength in some of these areas and be developing in others. That’s OK with us.

Your fundamentals will be:

- 2+ years experience working in product design and development
- A portfolio of quality UX/UI design (Sketch, Figma, Photoshop, Adobe XD)
- Experience working within an agile environment, taking an iterative and collaborative approach to evolve the product and testing
- Experience conducting and organising customer research
- Wireframe designs
- Branding and Print designs (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Sketch)
- The eagerness to work onsite and collaborate with the team in our Brisbane office, with flexible work hours
