**The Opportunity**

We are looking for a new team member to join the Overseas Service team in a full-time permanent opportunity to work from home and the University of Newcastle. Our overseas team looks after the premium service centre, a one-stop-shop for all our overseas student member needs. Working in a collaborative team environment you’ll be providing support, advice, and value to our overseas students in relation to their health insurance.

In this role you will be working full time from Monday to Friday anywhere between the hours of 8am to 8pm. We are looking for individuals who would be happy to work in a hybrid environment, both from home and based at our retail centres to help the customers face-to-face. This role is ideal for someone who is looking to further develop their Customer Service skills and build a career at Medibank.

**Key responsibilities will include**:

- Taking inbound calls to service our customers
- Service an end-to-end solution for the Overseas Student customers
- Being a positive contributor of the Overseas Specialist Team identifying and highlighting opportunities to improve the member and billing agent experience

Additional skills and experience:

- Knowledge and understanding of the health, finance, or insurance industry within Australia is desirable, (not compulsory)
- Self-starter: a drive to pursue own learning and development outcomes and results; and
- Can remain calm and professional while dealing with at time challenging situations.
