What will your day look like

You will be responsible for the execution of the client acquisition strategy for Payments & Cash Management (Institutional & Corporate Segment). You will be leading a national team (currently 13 FTE) of Business Development managers and Commercial Cards specialists responsible for originating new to bank and existing client business growth opportunities.

You will set the strategy for the team, identifying industry and market segment growth opportunities, and you will work alongside Relationship, TB state Segment Heads, our International teams, Transaction Banking product, and Wholesale Digital to co-design compelling value propositions for target customers.

**Your key priorities and responsibilities include**:
Be a thought leader in identifying new product solution requirements for our customers and will work collaboratively across our product, technology, operations & service teams to develop these solutions.

Have a curious and strategic mind-set, strong client engagement skills, strong stakeholder management skills, a deep understanding of ANZ’s Cash Management solution suite, a desire to continuously understand the newest technology trends in TB, and an ability to create lead a high performing people culture.

Line Management of a Group of project resources (Product Owner, Business Analysts) assisting with above responsibilities as well as co-ordinate resources from other teams and areas required to deliver the overall solution.

Effective execution of the TB Sales strategy

Effective pipeline management using Mercury and sales process

Upholds ANZ standards in risk & compliance as required

Resourceful in finding, collating and analysing customer research and data

Ensures consistency & quality of Proposal and Contractual documentation

What will you bring?

- A tertiary qualification in a Business, Finance, Technology or related discipline with strong understanding of transaction banking products and use by Institutional clients

Excellent analytical skills with the ability to think laterally and the flexibility to work in an environment of constant change

Digitally-minded and a desire to be at the forefront of digital innovation with the ability to identify future needs of clients through key questioning techniques

Strong understanding of Working Capital Management (at both financial and operational levels)

Excellent professional presence and exceptional presentation skills with strong communication skills in order to work closely with our customers to meet their needs

A thorough understanding of and previous experience in transactional banking advantageous, strong client facing experience (in a sales capacity desirable)
