**Position Summary**

Joining our team as an Intermediate Consultant, provides you will the perfect environment to grow and develop your career.

Some of your day to day activities will be:

- Preparation of individual, company, trust, partnership and superannuation tax returns. This includes:

- Preparation of Business Activity Statements and Instalment Activity Statements; and
- Processing and managing of tax office correspondence (eg. Assessments, Instalments and PAYG Tax variations).
- Preparation of Fringe Benefit tax returns
- Preparing the complete set of financial accounts for all entities.
- Preparing and analysing standard management reports for clients (ie cash flow reports, budgets, etc).
- Completing workpapers to a quality standard as set by the Division.
- Providing feedback, guidance and support to junior team members which can involve acting as a buddy.
- Preparing budgets and bills for services rendered.

**Skills and Experience**

Key to your success in the role will be:

- A minimum of eighteen months to three years’ experience working in a Business Services environment in a Chartered / CPA accounting practice and have some exposure to tax issues and financial planning.
- Degree qualified and have commenced your CA / CPA studies.
- Technical proficiency and you will demonstrate a keen interest and desire to develop your knowledge and keep updated with the latest taxation law and accounting developments.
- Have the ability to work with junior members of staff by providing them with support and guidance and in some instances, act as a buddy.
- Beeing able to identify any issues for discussion with the appropriate Manager.
- Have good time management skills and be able to prioritise work and meet deadlines for a large group of clients.
- Professional presentation with excellent interpersonal and communication skills which will be consistently used in dealings with clients, partners and staff members.
