Our opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for an Asset Manager to join our Sydney Team. You will be responsible for the strategic management of asset(s) that ensures sustainable, profitable performance for the Group that is aligned with the Portfolio Strategy. Provide leadership and direction to the Property Management team in order to drive successful outcomes at the asset(s) in a way that embodies the key Mirvac values.

**Your responsibilities are but not limited to**:
Accept accountability for preparing the Strategic Asset Plans for the asset(s) and ensure all items are executed in line with agreed timeframes.
Optimise the profitability of your asset(s) through identification of business initiatives and efficiencies in consultation with the Portfolio Manager and assist the national team with implementation.
Drive, lead and deliver sustainable and profitable performance of the asset(s) within the portfolio.
Ensure compliance with various lease terms in accordance with lease documentation, business unit deadlines and best practice management.
Complete reporting for Joint Owners in your property(s) in compliance with Co-Owner Agreements.
Manage lease negotiations and assist in evaluating potential acquisition and disposal opportunities within the portfolio.
Drive a customer centric culture across your assets, being the main point of contact for our customers and providing an exceptional experience throughout respective lease terms.
Build relationships with key market experts to ensure a full understanding of the investment metrics relevant to valuations of your property(s).
Develop an understanding of the valuation management process and valuation cashflows including the impacts of property level decisions on valuation outcomes.
Assist in the development of retention strategies which aim to meet or exceed historic rates from across the wider portfolio.
Work with the team to ensure accurate and timely forecasting on a monthly (accrual) basis including provision and analysis of variance commentary and recommendation for corrective action.
Assist with the acquisition and disposal of assets as required.

Your point of difference

To be successful you will have relevant tertiary qualifications, with moderate experience in the Property Industry and knowledge of the office and industrial sector, ideally exposure to retail property.

Additionally, you will have proficient skills in forecasting tools preferably Anaplan, extensive knowledge and experience in the preparation of property income and expenditure budgets on an “accrual basis” and a strong understanding of Capital Markets, Property Trusts and previous exposure to an Institutional Owner.

Finally, you will have proficient analytical and report writing skills as well as strong time and resource management skills.
