About the role
As Asset Manager - Industrial, you will play a crucial role within Lendlease's industrial platform, collaborating closely with Investment Management, Funds Management, Development teams, and external Property Managers. You will contribute to delivering performance objectives at both the asset and portfolio levels, supporting overarching Fund and investor strategies. This role emphasizes fostering collaboration and a strong, high-performing culture within the Asset Management team.
Your responsibilities will encompass several strategic, financial, and operational initiatives, including:
- Developing and executing customer engagement strategies that enhance tenant satisfaction and retention, aligning with overall asset and portfolio objectives.- Driving leasing strategies and negotiations to optimize occupancy and income generation across the portfolio. This includes working closely with leasing agents and internal stakeholders to secure and manage tenant relationships.- Closely interacting with internal teams (Investment, Funds Management, Development) and external partners (Property Managers) to ensure seamless execution of portfolio-level strategies.- Acting on behalf of Funds/Mandate owners, including managing communications, reporting, and approvals of budgets/leasing proposals with JV investment partners and co-owners.- Managing CAPEX and OPEX budgets, providing financial analysis and support for acquisitions and developments, and reporting on financial performance to investors and stakeholders.- Identifying and capitalizing on market trends and sustainability opportunities, with a particular focus on achieving GRESB and decarbonization targets.- Proven experience in asset management, investment management, or a related field within the real estate or industrial sector.- A strong understanding of financial modelling, investment analysis, and valuation processes within the real estate industry.- Demonstrated experience in managing leasing activities, developing and overseeing CAPEX budgets, and optimizing asset performance.- A successful track record in managing a portfolio of assets, with a focus on strategic planning, financial analysis, and performance optimization.- Experience working with cross-functional teams and proven expertise in managing relationships with external stakeholders, including co-owners, investors, and property managers.
