**About the role**

With projects and clients growing, we are looking for a customer and delivery focused Process Manager who is proactive in the delivery for clients and leading a team to ensure projects are successful and our team culture continues to be fun and open. We are looking for a people-focused professional who can provide technical direction, leadership and guidance to our high performing process team. You will be exposed to variety of clients working on oil, gas, utilities, manufacturing, petrochemical, renewables and other local industry projects. In this role, you will:

- Manage process design through engineering phases from concept/select, FEED through to detailed design and delivery
- Provide technical guidance and leadership to develop junior engineers
- Provide a quality assurance voice for your fellow team members
- Develop existing and new relationships to promote the Process offering and uncover new opportunities
- Prepare proposals (hours estimation and scope definition) for new and ongoing works

**About you**

You will be a highly experienced Lead/Principal Process Engineer ready to step up into a Team Manager role. Ideally, you will have experience in oil & gas, although experience in manufacturing, dairy, infrastructure or heavy industry is also valued. The role offers an opportunity to be part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team, working with a diverse range of clients on brownfields projects and new builds. You will be a Chartered Engineer and registered with the Board of Professional Engineers - Queensland.

You will bring to the role:

- Process Engineering degree (or equivalent)
- 15+ years of proven industry experience, with a drive to deliver projects efficiently for clients whilst having a keen interest in leading and developing a team.
- Consulting and/or operational experience with commercial acumen for project and client success.
- You will have a firm understanding of the energy sector and the evolving options around a low carbon energy future.
- A strong client network, and the ability to leverage this to support team utilisation.
- Ability to collaborate across teams and regions, and proactively interact with Project Managers, discipline engineers and designers to deliver successful outcomes for our clients.
- People management skills for staff development

The following are valued but not essential:

- LOPA / HAZOP Facilitator experience and accreditation
- Skills in using process simulation software such as VMGSim or Aspen HYSYS
- Experience in engineering design in the areas of hydrogen, hydrocarbons or process plants highly desirable.
- Experience in Process Safety Engineering
