**Procurement & Supply Officer**

BTP is looking for a **Procurement & Supply Officer** to join our team based at our Head office in Hazelmere.

The focus of the role is to ensure that goods and services are acquired at the best possible value, whilst maintaining quality and timeliness. Working closely with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and other departments to meet procurement needs.

Reporting to the inventory planning supervisor the successful person will be a self-driven and self-motivated individual constantly aspiring to achieve the best outcome.

**About the Role**
- Building and maintaining positive relationships with suppliers resolving any issues or disputes.
- Accurately create and monitor purchase orders, tracking deliveries, and addressing delays or discrepancies.
- Support internal stakeholders with purchasing needs and requirements by providing guidance and support to ensure their procurement goals are met.
- Monitor and evaluate supplier performance, issues, non-compliance, or quality concerns.
- Work with inventory management teams to ensure optimal stock levels, minimise excess inventory and inventory errors.
- Identify and address shipping issues to correct incorrectly shipped items.
- Analysing costs, comparing prices to identify opportunities for cost savings.
- Ensuring compliance with procurement regulations, policies, and ethical standards.
- Identifying opportunities for process optimisation, automation, and standardisation within the purchasing function.
- Actively promote and contribute to a positive Health, Safety and Environment Culture.

**About You**
- Experience in a similar role in the heavy mobile equipment industry or related sectors.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Pronto and Coupa experience is preferred.
- Proactive and highly motivated with a collaborative team-orientated mindset.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills essential.
- Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and compliance standards.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
