Job Description
About the Role:
As the Procurement Officer, you will lead and coordinate procurement and contract management activities, supporting strategic sourcing, compliance and value-for-money outcomes.
Key responsibilities:
- Coordinate the sourcing of quotes for pricing and the raising of purchase orders and requisitions for equipment and materials.
- Assist with major tenders including the development of scope of works.
- Liaisewith consultants and suppliers for acquisitions, maintenance and minor works projects.
- Report regularly on the status of all contracts, including risks, expiries and renewal requirements.
- Provide advice on asset procurement procedures and processes.

Desired Skills and Experience
Key Role Requirements:
- Qualifications in procurement, business or supply chain management.
- Demonstrated experience in a procurement role preferably within the aged care, health or NFP sectors.
- Demonstrated knowledge of procurement legislation, contract law and ethical sourcing practices.
- Highly developed communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in procurement systems and the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Permanent working rights within Australia.
- National Police Clearance.
