With a strong pipeline of projects and a network of specialist support nationally and globally, AECOM are growing their Melbourne water infrastructure team, and are seeking a motivated Associate Director to join us.

The Water Infrastructure group provides services to a range of internal and external clients on projects covering water and wastewater treatment, dams, asset management, major conveyance, industrial, civil infrastructure (including support of major projects such as the Metro Tunnel and LXRP), mining, and defence sectors.

Using your strong client-focus and developed networks, you will join our multi-disciplinary team to seek out new opportunities, nurture positive client relationships, and deliver timely, innovative and high-quality project outputs. You will be a motivational leader, fostering the growth and development of our team, which comprises of a combination of new talent and experienced professionals, whilst focusing on technical excellence, project management and client service satisfaction.

Minimum Requirements

You enjoy working in teams, being accountable for your work and influential in project outcomes. You enjoy developing and nurturing relationships within AECOM and our clients, whether through project work, business development initiatives or industry associations. You are positive, looking at challenges as opportunities to innovate, collaborate and grow. You are an active team member and are eager to take on new and different.

**Ideally, you will have**:
+ Demonstrated experience in managing complex projects and meeting delivery requirements.

+ Commercial acumen, strong business analysis skills and the ability to interpret and understand complex financial systems and reports.

+ Demonstrated experience in identifying new innovative business development opportunities and turning these into wins.

+ Ability to work collaboratively at both an internal and external, client-facing level, developing new client relationships and maintaining existing networks within the business.

+ Mentoring junior engineers.

+ Recently published or presented paper(s) in a relevant technical area would be highly regarded.

+ 15+ years professional experience.

Preferred Qualifications

+ Tertiary qualifications and consulting experience are essential.
