As our highly valued Coordinator Business Controls based in Brisbane, your role be key in supporting the business manage risk, providing input into the development of frameworks, policies, supporting standards, processes and procedures by collaborating and partnering with your team and stakeholders, advancing understanding of our risk, obligation and control environment.
You will support the monitoring of the effectiveness of controls, compliance with obligations and risk appetite to support the consistent delivery of meaningful value to our stakeholders. Where risk events or compliance breaches occur, you will support the tracking, monitoring and remediation.
You will support the consistent implementation of change by ensuring that Great Southern Bank’s frameworks, policies, supporting standards, processes and procedures are understood and applied.

**You’ll make an impact by**:

- Supporting risk and control identification as well as risk assessments
- Contributing to the divisional risk profiles
- Supporting the production of compliance plans

**Do things differently with us**

**To succeed in this role, you will have**:

- Up to 1 years’ experience in financial services and an understanding of operational risk and compliance in the financial services industry
- Degree in management, business, finance, human resources, data or related discipline (completed or working towards)
- Knowledge of relevant Finance industry standards, acts, codes and legislation (e.g., APRA, ASIC, Customer Owned Banking Code of Practice, Privacy Act, Trade Practices Act, FSRA) (desirable)
