**About the role**

We are currently seeking a Traveltrain **Mechanical Maintainer** to join our team based in Ipswich Workshops on a 4 month fixed term, full-time basis starting in July 2025.

The project will need Mechanical and Electrical Fitters ideally with Diesel Tilt Train and SAP/Maintenance Planning experience to be part of a short term project team based at Ipswich Workshops. During this period staff will be completing a ‘strip and inspect’ (Delap) on a Diesel Tilt Train. Further information regarding the scope of works will be provided once a team is formed.

**Hours and salary**

This role requires you to work Monday to Friday (76hrs per fortnight)

**About you**
- Trades Certificate as a Mechanical Fitter, Diesel Fitter, Fitter/ Welder, Motor Mechanic or hold an equivalent qualification
- Proven fault finding experience in Diesel engines, hydraulics systems, pneumatics and refrigeration
- Strong focus on safety
