**The opportunity**

As a Risk & Compliance Specialist, you will play a key role in managing and evolving the risk and compliance practices of the Member Services and Operations (MSO) team to ensure the team delivers on its objectives in a safe and sustainable way.

Your daily responsibilities will include reviewing and monitoring all MSO team practices and operational risk issues, driving and taking ownership of operational incident management, assess policy and regulatory changes, as well as be the primary point of contact with the administrator and other outsourced providers on risk and compliance matters.

You will proactively educate and support team leaders to fulfill their risk and compliance responsibilities based on the enterprise risk and compliance frameworks. You will also work collaboratively with the central Risk and Compliance teams (Line 2 Risk and Compliance) to build and maintain a strong relationship with leaders in the MSO Team.

**About you**

Further, you will also have experience leveraging internal and external relationships to educate stakeholders on risk and compliance matters and influence the delivery of mutually beneficial solutions to meet risk and compliance obligations. You’re a proactive self-starter, who thinks strategically to improve processes from a commercial & business context, therefore experience in building process controls in a highly regulated environment is highly desirable.
