Some of the awesome things you’ll be involved with:
- Ensuring that board and committee meetings are well organised, including preparing agendas, editing and loading board papers and drafting minutes of meeting and action lists- Maintaining statutory records- Preparing and lodging ASIC forms- Lodging approved market announcements with ASX’s Market Announcement Platform- Liaising with the Company’s share registry- Preparation for the listed company’s annual general meeting (including drafting the notice of meeting).- Developing and leading Iress’ approach to subsidiary management, including providing company secretarial support to Iress’ Australian and international subsidiaries.- Drafting documents to comply with Iress’ statutory and reporting obligations- Contributing to the development of the internal governance framework, board and committee charters and associated policies to reflect evolving governance best practices, legislative and operational requirements
What you will bring:
- Experience working in a listed company secretarial environment, including providing company secretarial support to Australian and international subsidiaries- Strong organisational and time management skills- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills- Qualification in law or governance preferred, but not essential- Knowledge of company secretarial practices, Corporations Law, ASX Listing Rules and ASX Corporate Governance Council’s Corporate Governance Principles and Recommendations
