
Asset Surveillance Officer

Public Sector People are working with a local council to recruit an Asset Surveillance Officer for a part time 2-month temporary contract assignment.
The Asset Surveillance Officer reports to the Team Leader Asset Systems and is responsible for undertaking proactive and reactive inspections of Council's assets in accordance with Council's Road Management Plan and other relevant documents.
This is an initial 2 month part-time temporary contract with opportunity to turn permanent.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Undertake proactive inspections of Council's road and road related assets in accordance with the inspection frequencies within Council's Road Management Plan.
- Identify, assess the risk, and record any issues relating to Council's road and road related assets in accordance with Council's Road Management Plan.
- Undertake proactive and reactive visual inspections and assessments of other infrastructure assets as required.
- Support the Asset Management team to undertake asset data collection, verification, processing and entering of asset data into corporate asset registers.
**Required Skills & Experience**:
- Demonstrated experience in undertaking visual inspections in accordance with relevant instructions, documentation and/or legislation.
- Experience with computers/mobile devices and proficiency using Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, Outlook and GIS systems
- Experience working within a collaborative team environment.
- Current Drivers Licence, CrimCheck, Pre-employment Medical
