**About the role**
The Quality Assurance Officer assists the Quality Assurance Lead with maintaining the integrity of the ISO 9001 certifications and reporting obligations associated with the Alliance Quality Management and Assurance System.
This position is also responsible for document administration, maintenance, tracking, compliance checks and report preparation. This includes but is not limited to assisting with the administration, maintenance and tracking of the Business Management System, planning for and achieving the Alliance assurance, audit obligations and follow through of outcomes. Along with the continuous improvement and integration of Alliance Industry Participant (AIP’s) assurance, audit plans and compliance requirements.
**Responsibilities include but are not limited to**:
- The tracking and maintenance administration of the Business Management System, ensuring that the Alliance activities are documented and available in accordance with the current ISO Standards and reflect the expected requirements of the Alliance
- Updating and maintaining Alliance audit schedules. Performing/recording audits, conducting compliance and gap analysis activity and identifying noncompliance
- Recording, tracking and monitoring the progress of Alliance assurance and audit outcomes including non-conformance and remedial actions
- Support the Quality team in the development and maintenance of the Alliance Quality Assurance Performance reporting and Business Performance
**About you**
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills and ability to use those skills proactively;
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal;
- Relevant experience within an administrative position;
- Experience in the provision of administrative support activities in a demanding and dynamic office environment with multiple competing priorities and strict deadlines;
- Sound organisational skills and high attention to detail;
- Certification in understanding the requirements of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems Requirements;
- Certification in Internal, Lead/Integrated Auditing;
- Certification in Root Cause Analysis; and
- Must either hold, or be eligible to obtain an Australian Defence Security Clearance.
