**Who are we?**

Deaf and Hearing HQ Australia specialises in providing support and services to individuals who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing, as well as those who communicate using Auslan. Our primary focus is on catering to the unique needs of the Deaf community, but we also aim to assist individuals living with various types of disabilities and ailments.

**About the role**

Duties may include, but not limited to:

- Work independently to provide support to client's as required. This may include social support, skill development, relationship building, domestic assistance, personal care, and various other requirements
- Collaborate positively with client's formal and informal supports to ensure advocacy and transparency.
- Keep accurate records of shifts and activities
- Work within NDIS code of conduct

**About you**

To be successful in this role you must have completed OR be working towards Certificate III in Individual support or higher/similar
- Completion of NDIS Worker Orientation Module
- An understanding of the NDIS code of conduct and principles
- Ability to work with NDIS participants to achieve their goals
- Drivers licence and own car, willing to use for transporting clients when required
- Valid police check
- Willing to obtain WWCC

**Job Type**: Subcontract

**Salary**: $39.00 - $43.00 per hour

**Education**:

- High School (Year 9-11) (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (required)
- Working with Children Check (preferred)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (preferred)
- National Police Certificate (required)
- Driver Licence (required)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)
