**Disability Support Worker - Casual - Northern Suburbs of Melbourne**

We are currently looking for enthusiastic individuals to improve the lifestyles of people with a disability, uphold their human rights and work towards empowering individuals.
In this role you will:
- Support people in their day-to-day living, ensuring they have opportunities to develop and maintain a valued lifestyle.
- Provide services to individuals which are developed specifically for their needs and by providing support for people with disabilities in a range of settings, in the home and in community based activities.
- Provide personal care and assistance, including grooming, bathing, and toileting.
- Manual handling such as hoisting.
- Assist clients in engaging in recreational and social activities.
- Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals, family members and stakeholders.
**REQUIREMENTS**:
- Flexibility and availability is essential in this role, with the ability to work a variety of shifts _(Monday-Sunday)_ morning, day, afternoon, and weekends.
- Must be able to commit to at least 3 days and minimum 20hrs per week.
- A relevant qualification in Disability.
- Valid Driver's License and vehicle with comprehensive insurance.
- Current Police Check, First Aid and CPR certificate.
- Victorian Working With Children’s Check for employment purposes.
- NDIS Worker Screen Check.
- COVID-19 Infection Control Training.
- COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate.
- Reliability, proactivity, and a positive attitude.
