An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced and motivated individual who has a mental health nursing, psychology, social work, occupational therapy or related health professional qualification and a minimum of 2 years’ experience in clinical management to lead and manage the Dandenong Adult Community Mental Health Service and the young Persons Mental Health Service through an exciting time of growth and change.

With a team of highly skilled managers reporting to this role, the Community Services manager will lead:

- Emergency Psychiatric Service (EPS) for Dandenong Hospital
- Consultation Liaison for Dandenong Hospital
- Assessment and Crisis Intervention Service (ACIS)
- Hospital Outreach Post Suicidal Engagement (HOPE)
- Community Care Team
- Mobile Support Team
- Women's Prevention and Recovery Centre (WPARC)
- Doveton Community Care Unit
- Refugee Liaison Nurse

The Young Persons’ Mental Health Service spans the entire Mental Health Program catchment area, consists of:

- Youth Consultation & Treatment Team
- Youth Recovery and Prevention of Psychosis Team
- Youth Prevention and Recovery Centre (PARCS)
- Personality Disorder Specialist Service

You will be part of a service that is receptive to new ideas, and be expected to lead and implement practice change in line with the Mental Health program and the recommendations of the Royal Commission into Mental Health Services.
