**About the Role**
We are on the lookout for a talented Data & Visualisation Analyst to join our high-performing team within the Transformation & Operations department. In this role, you'll report to Senior Manager - Operational Business Intelligence and work closely with various functions across the BOQ Group. Your mission will be to deliver data-led solutions that enhance our T&O reporting suite, driving business insights and efficiencies.
This is an exciting opportunity where you'll engage with a variety of reporting opportunities and data sources. BOQ has invested heavily in cutting-edge data and analytics capabilities to support the business's rapidly evolving demand for insights and analytics, and you'll be leveraging many of these new resources.
You'll be responsible for modelling and publishing Enterprise Semantic data models, creating and publishing data visualisations, reports, and dashboards for Management/Regulatory Reporting. Building productive relationships with stakeholders will be key to ensuring our reporting solutions are effective and meet the business's needs.
Additionally, you'll lead and assist in running forums or showcases for multiple business stakeholders, maintain secure access for data and reporting artefacts, and provide technical support for T&O.
**About you**
To thrive in this role, you'll need a strong background in business intelligence and analytics, with extensive experience in Power BI within a large organisation. Your excellent stakeholder engagement skills will help you build relationships at all levels, and your strong analytical, problem-solving, and research skills will enable you to translate raw data into actionable insights.
We're looking for someone with a Bachelor's Degree in Technology or a related field, and ideally, an advanced degree. You should have experience with Power BI, including administration, architecture, design, implementation, support, dashboard development, visualisation, and data modelling. A solid understanding of the end-to-end Modern Data Warehouse Architecture on Azure is essential.
Your business acumen will help you understand and anticipate business needs, and your strong communication and interpersonal skills will allow you to translate business concepts into easily understood business intelligence formats. Experience delivering best-in-class solutions using the Microsoft Azure BI Stack, as well as SQL Server 2014 (On-Prem), is highly desirable. Proficiency in languages such as SQL, R, Python, DAX, and Power Query (M) is also important.
Personal attributes that will set you apart include effective communication and influential skills, a natural ability to collaborate and bring people together, an innovative mindset, and a focus on continuous improvement. You'll need emotional intelligence to build relationships and encourage effective team behaviours, a visionary outlook to create and inspire a shared purpose, and a growth mindset to support individual and team development. Being value-driven and committed to diversity and inclusion within BOQ Group is also crucial.
If you're passionate about data and visualisation and are looking for a role where you can make a significant impact, we'd love to hear from you
