We're seeking an experienced
Business Data Analyst
to play a pivotal role in transforming complex business data into actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making. Reporting to the
Head of Data
, you'll work across multiple business areas, designing and delivering powerful dashboards, reports, and visual analytics that empower leaders at all levels of the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a suite of business intelligence dashboards and reports using Power BI.
  • Integrate data from multiple systems including Databricks, Oracle, Workday, SAP, Google Analytics, CRM, and Dealer Management Systems.
  • Deliver monthly executive reporting packs with commentary and insights.
  • Prepare data analysis and visual storytelling for Board meetings and Director forums.
  • Partner with business units to identify data needs, ensure data quality, and enhance the enterprise-wide data model.
  • Contribute to the Data Visualisation Strategy, Roadmap, and Governance Framework.
  • Mentor and uplift data literacy across the organisation through coaching and training initiatives.

About You

You're a technically strong and commercially minded data professional who thrives on turning numbers into narratives. You'll bring:

  • 5+ years' experience in business analysis, data visualisation, or BI roles.
  • Deep expertise in
    Microsoft Power BI
    , including DAX, data modelling, and workspace management.
  • Advanced SQL skills for extraction, transformation, and data manipulation.
  • Experience with
    Azure Databricks
    and
    SQL Server
    environments.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to simplify complexity for non-technical audiences.
  • A tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in automotive or finance industries (advantageous but not essential).
