An opportunity for an experienced Data Governance join a reputable non-profit organization. As part of a Planning, Projects & Improvement you will develop, maintain and implement the Data Governance framework.

**Objective**:

- Develop and implement data governance policies, procedures, standards, guidelines, and related documentation, ensuring appropriate legal and regulatory compliance.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration on data management initiatives and to lead data governance organisation and management projects or initiatives.
- Coordination of data governance and management across key data reporting stakeholders
- Collaborate (or lead where required) on projects that drive data lifecycle management, data quality and integrity improvement, data security, compliance and privacy protection.
- Provide Corporate Plan reporting, metrics and data insights to inform change improvements to the business.

**Responsibilities**
- Providing responsive and respectful customer centric services in accordance with our customer service standards and commitments
- Actively managing safety and promoting our safety culture
- Attention to detail when inputting and managing tenant information and data, within set timeframes
- Support stakeholder to implement best practice data management and reporting in line with organisational standards for reporting, processes, practices, quality and integrity
- Lead and advise on business process systems linked to current and current approaches
- Foster a culture of data literacy and accountability
- improvements enhance reporting

**Job Requirements**:

- Relevant qualifications and 5+ years’ experience in data management and governance
- Demonstrated experience preparing data governance policies, procedures, standards, guidelines
- Ability to drive cross-functional collaboration on data management and adapt to different teams and audiences
- Capacity to lead data improvement projects and initiatives
- Strong knowledge of data privacy and security regulations and best practice data management
- Effective stakeholder management skills
- Engaging leadership skills and the ability to drive change with negotiating and influencing experience
- Practical experience with data management technologies, tools and end to end data flow
- Track record in designing, implementing and improving operational processes
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and effectively manage work priorities across multiple streams of work
- Knowledge of project management and/or change management practice.
