Casual Position (Mondays, minimum of 8 hours per week) $30-35 hour, depending on experience.

**About Us**:
We are the parent company of two hot sandwich takeaway shops and a fast growing corporate events and catering business, located on Flinders Lane in the heart of Melbourne’s CBD.

**Hours and Remote Working Arrangements**:
Potential for the role to become permanent, following a 6 month probationary period.

**The Role**:
Reporting to the Director, we are seeking an organised Bookeeper to support the Accounts Team with the various general bookkeeping requirements of our growing small businesses.

**Responsibilities will include**:

- General bookkeeping including BAS, accounts payables and receivables.
- Processing time sheets using Deputy and payroll, along with superannuation and leave requirements.
- Reconciling bank and credit card statements using Xero accounting software
- Supporting the Accounts Team to prepare BAS requirements.
- Organising forms and documents.
- Updating and improving current office procedures.

**The successful applicant will have the following**:

- A deadline and outcome focused mindset with attention to detail
- Highly organised when it comes to prioritising and executing tasks prior to due dates
- Excellent communication and effective time management skills
- Strong competency in using XERO accounting software
- Sound Knowledge of Microsoft Office & Excel and have accurate data entry skills.
- Be a great communicator working well in a team and independently as required.
- Working with integrity, honesty and energy to promote the business’s culture and values.
