The Infrastructure Services team have a great opportunity for a new Supervisor based at our Maroubra depot. This position leads the team undertaking tree maintenance activities on public land providing a safe, attractive and accessible open spaces for our residents and visitors.

**What you will bring**
- AQF Level 5 Diploma in Aboriculture (or working towards completion)
- Demonstrated experience in managing urban trees
- Team leadership experience including strong contractor management
- Sound computer skills including corporate software
- Excellent communication skills for internal and external customers
- A current Class C driver’s licence
- A current WHS General Construction Induction (White) card

**Things you will do**
- Investigate and recommend appropriate actions for tree maintenance requests from the public
- Ensure accurate and timely assessment of private tree pruning and removal
- Coordinate the operations of the team with a focus on quality customer service
- Use relevant computer software to record, monitor and collate data and reports
- Manage Council’s Sewer Choke Policy
- Ensure operations are performed within budget
