Our client is a leading technology organisation that is revolutionising the way companies manage their cloud solutions across APAC.

Australian owned and headquartered in Sydney this organisation has gone from strength to strength, with impressive growth throughout the APAC region. Their ethos is to use technology to support digital transformation, overhauling how companies managed their cloud environments.

Due to their continued growth, they are looking to expand their team and are looking a Risk and Compliance Manager to join the team based out of Sydney.

**The role**:
This newly created role will see you supporting the Head of Risk in enhancing and embedding frameworks across the business. This role will see you taking the lead as the SME across APAC regulatory developments and managing all compliance to ensure industry standards are met.

In addition, you will act as the lead for all annual audits and assessments across the group, liaising with necessary business leaders to ensure deadlines are met.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with and be mentored by a Head of Risk with an impressive career leading Risk functions across APAC. You will play an integral part in managing Risk and Compliance across the group whilst building strategy and recruiting an industry leading Risk team based in Sydney.

**Responsibilities will include**:

- Assist in coordinating all risk, compliance and legal activities
- Create and implement a Risk and Compliance Strategy alongside the Head of Risk
- Undertake Compliance and Operational Risk Assessments for key initiatives and projects
- Review and advise on regulatory compliance with advertising and external communications
- Establish and maintain close working relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring an appropriate level of risk, compliance and legal support is applied.
- Provide effective advice to all business areas on compliance with relevant regulations and legislation

- Proven background working within the risk and compliance domain, ideally 2 plus years as a Risk and Compliance Manager
- Good understanding of ISO industry standards, any experience across ISO27001/2, ISO 28001, Trust Services Criteria / SOC2, PCI DSS, ISO9001, ISO45001,
- Experience and understanding of GDPR and any exposure to sustainability/environmental requirements would be highly beneficial
- Experienced in the management of external audits, working with third parties to meet deadlines to successful outcomes
- Any experience working within an APAC focused regulatory environment would be highly beneficial in this role.
- Strong communication skills with proven ability to influence key stakeholders across multiple business functions
- Knowledge of Risk and Compliance tools including ServiceNow.
