**Payment Operations Specialist**
The Payment Operations capability has been developed to create specialised skills sets to improve how we interact with our clients and insurers, drive greater cash flow, process consistency, scale and standardisation.
We are a Regional team across Asia-Pacific, dedicated to operational procedures and support of key activities which focus on the collection and distribution of premium and revenue.
We have two, Fixed Term, 12 month contracts available for self motivated, hard working individuals.
This role can be based in Sydney CBD or Paramatta.
This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work from home and from our Aon office.

**What the day will look like**
- The Payment Operations Specialist will work and support the Settlements Manager on day to day insurer settlement tasks to ensure they are completed in a timely manner.
**Responsibilities**:
- Monthly domestic and international insurer settlements for funds held in trust
- Aged receivables/general accounts receivables/collections support
- Banking & refunds
- Payment reconciliation via various banking portals
- Cash on account
- Monthly commission payments to 3rd parties
- Cash flow analysis
- Assist with preparation of statutory returns
- External vendor management

**Skills and experience that will lead to success**
- To be successful in this role, you will be passionate about a career in insurance and have strong administration and customer service skills.
- Proven experience within a similar administrative role in accounting or financial services (highly regarded)
- Accounts Payable/Receivables experience (highly regarded)
- Banking, reconciliation and settlements experience (highly regarded)
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to communicate with a wide variety of stakeholders across all levels of the business
- Intermediate/Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail
