**About the Role**
As an APS5 Internal Review Officer, you'll play a pivotal role in undertaking moderately complex to complex work with accountability and precision. Your responsibilities will involve working with participants to gather crucial information, keeping them informed about decisions, reviews, and the appeals process.
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Engage with participants to gather information related to review requests, providing clear communication about decisions, reviews, and the appeals process.
- Conduct evidence-based decision-making following the guidelines set by the agency Act, rules, Operational Guidelines, and policies.
- Monitor and manage caseloads, ensuring internal reviews are completed within specified timeframes.
- Contribute to quality improvement activities, enhancing service delivery practices, processes, and systems.
**Key Requirements**
- ** Must be an Australian Citizen**:
- A commitment to delivering exceptional service and timely, consistent decision-making.
- Sound knowledge of the agency Act, rules, Operational Guidelines, and policies.
- Ability to manage complex caseloads and ensure internal reviews are completed within set timeframes.
- Strong communication skills to engage effectively with participants and their representatives.
- A proactive approach to quality improvement, contributing to the enhancement of service delivery practices.
