The Bank Tavern, a well-loved local venue in the heart of Kogarah, is seeking an experienced and reliable **Full-Time Assistant Manager** to join our dynamic team. This role is perfect for someone who excels in operational management, customer service, and thrives in a fast-paced environment that encompasses both bar and gaming operations.

**About the Role**

As the Assistant Manager, you will be crucial in supporting the Venue Manager and ensuring the smooth, efficient, and profitable daily operation of The Bank Tavern. Your role is highly diverse, blending essential management duties with hands-on floor work.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Operational Management & Finance**:

- **Opening and Closing Procedures**: Ensuring the venue is prepared for trade and securely closed down each day, including setting up and securing gaming areas and the bar.
- **Daily Financial Reconciliation**: Accurately performing daily cash handling, counting tills, and conducting end-of-day reconciliation reports.
- **Venue Presentation**: Taking ownership of the venue's appearance, ensuring all areas (bar, gaming room, restrooms, and general public areas) are kept clean, tidy, and well-maintained to the highest standards.

**Hands-On Service & Staff Support**:

- **Bar Attendant Duties**: Serving drinks, maintaining stock levels, and providing excellent, friendly service to all patrons.
- **Gaming Attendant Duties**: Assisting patrons in the gaming room, ensuring responsible service of gaming, paying out winnings, and maintaining the security and compliance of the area.
- **Customer Service**: Leading by example to ensure all guests have a positive experience and handling customer inquiries or complaints professionally.

**What We're Looking For**:

- Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a pub or tavern setting.
- Current NSW **RSA** (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certification.
- Current NSW **RCG & ARCG** (Advance/Responsible Conduct of Gambling) certification.
- Exceptional cash handling skills and a high level of numerical accuracy.
- Reliability and flexibility to work a rotating roster, including nights, weekends, and public holidays, as required for opening and closing shifts.
- A proactive attitude towards cleanliness, maintenance, and operational efficiency.
