The Brand |

An Australian brand of sophisticated femininity, clever colour combinations and delicate original prints. Domestically and internationally this brand maintains a collection of stand-alone stores across the world, creating seductive and dynamic retail destinations that reflect the brand’s modern and optimistic aesthetic while also operating its own successful online boutique. With demand from its growing international clients has seen the opening of stores in the United States, United Kingdom, and Europe, with the most recent expansion into Italy with store openings in Capri, Milan and Rome.

The Role |

We are seeking a number of Textile Print Designers to join them during a time of growth - This position will involve artwork design and development from concept through to bulk in line with the brand aesthetic.
- Collaborate with Creative Director and design team on seasonal concepts
- Extensively research creative ideas and provide input on the key têxtile design elements of each season in line with the Creative Director’s vision.
- Creating original purpose-built artworks for seasonal collections
- Ensure all artworks is created in line with the company standards regarding originality and intellectual property rules.
- Technical preparation of artwork including creating artwork repeats and colour separations.
- Complete placement print designs, engineering to pattern markers.

The Skillset |
- Tertiary qualifications in Textile design
- Previous experience as a têxtile designer
- The ability to demonstrate outstanding creative instincts and a distinct point of view through colour, texture and patterns.
- Have strong design and communicative skills.
- Advanced Photoshop, Illustrator & InDesign skills.
- Immaculate attention to detail.
- Knowledge of current design trends, industry developments and new têxtile processes.
