Sales Administrator

Our client is a leading consumer goods group specializing in distributing everyday products to major retailers in Australia. This Sales Administrator role reports to the Sales Manager. You will make a significant impact by providing consistent support to the sales team, efficiently processing orders, generating informative monthly sales reports, delivering exceptional customer service, conducting effective telemarketing campaigns, and handling crucial administrative duties. Your contributions in each of these areas are highly valued and essential to the organization's success
**Key Responsibilities**:
- You will be expected to work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure timely deliveries and maintain active communication with external customers.
- Following established departmental procedures, you will perform a variety of data entry tasks, enter orders for assigned business units, input accurate pricing for the appropriate customer group, and conduct a final check of all orders.
- You will also be responsible for generating and distributing various sales reports as required.
- You will assist with telephone inquiries and orders related to the company's products, pricing, and services. You will participate in the resolution of customer complaints and ensure accurate invoicing and timely delivery of customer orders. In case of any out-of-stock items, you will notify customers promptly.
- You might also contact businesses or private individuals by phone to solicit sales for goods or services, describe products and prices, answer customer queries, collect customer information and enter orders into the computer system, record prospects' names, addresses, purchases, and feedback. You will provide clerical and administrative support to the department as needed. Intermediate-level proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly with Excel worksheets, is essential for this role.
