**About the role**

The Accounts Officer Receivables position at Activ, reports to Finance Manager and is part of the strategy and finance team providing financial and administrative services to ensure efficient, timely and accurate receipting of payments to Activ’s accounts.

**A typical day in the role may look like **
- Undertaking accurate data processing in a timely & efficient manner
- Following up on overdue accounts; collection and allocation of payments
- Preparing the daily banking for Central Services and facility banking for sites located away from Central Services
- Following established procedures for processing receipts etc.
- Liaising by phone and in writing with customers and consumers and responding to enquiries in a timely & efficient manner
- Preparing monthly and quarterly reporting as required.
- Strong administrative and analytical skills
- Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
- Highly developed computer skills with detailed knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word with proficient data entry skills
- 3 years’ experience in a high-volume Accounts Receivable role with the ability to perform all Accounts Receivable processes including receipting and collection
- National Police Clearance and/or NDIS worker screening check.
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module
