The Central Sterilisation Supply Department (CSSD) at Western Health is seeking a highly motivated and suitably qualified person to join our leadership team as a CSSD Manager.

The CSSD is responsible for the reprocessing of reusable medical devices across 6 campuses, which includes supporting the Endoscopy departments.

The CSSD Manager’s role will be pivotal in supporting the operation of these dynamic departments.

This is a full-time, ongoing position.

**To be Successful in this Role, you will**:

- Possess a relevant Post Graduate qualification or relevant clinical experience
- Demonstrate effective management skills appropriate for a manager’s role
- Demonstrate effective communication skills both written and verbal
- Possess well developed interpersonal skills including conflict resolution strategies
- Possess a knowledge of relevant standards, legislation, policies and human resource procedures
- Have a commitment to ongoing education and learning.
- Have a willingness to learn and support a growing team across multiple campuses.
- Have good computer skills
- Have a commitment to maintaining high quality standards to support safe patient care
- Support the recruitment process and retention of staff
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, able to multi task
- Be innovative, resourceful and adaptable to change
