We are doing this by connecting and digitising our systems and platforms across state and local government as well as streamlining our corporate and procurement services.

**About the role**

This is a newly created role to enable DGS to roll out SAP SuccessFactors to 3 Victorian government departments and seven government agencies as part of DGS's mission to improve government services for everyone. You'll be part of an innovative and collaborative team entrusted with delivering a vital shared service for over 4,000 employees and driving significant efficiencies and productivity gains throughout government.

Reporting to the People Central Service Delivery Manager, the People Central Team Leader is responsible for leading the People Central team who are instrumental in managing day-to-day HR operations and maintaining people and position data on SAP SuccessFactors (branded as the VicGov People platform) for DGS, its customer departments and associated agencies.

The People Central Team Leader works closely with internal and external stakeholders to support continuous improvement on the VicGov People platform and HR processes outside of the system and ensures the People Central function provides a customer centric and efficient issue resolution experience.

**Key Accountabilities include**
- Lead and develop the People Central team ensuring capability to deliver the services and support to the customer departments and agencies in line with service level agreements and Key Performance Indicators.
- Lead and manage the People Central team to ensure the timely and accurate processing of system workflows, queries and requests, ensuring resolution of manager and employee queries in a timely manner either within the SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central (EC) module or the Salesforce service management system.
- Actively engage and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including department and agency clients, Workplace Relations, P&C Business Partnering, Recruitment and Payroll to ensure the team is working collaboratively.
- Continuously review current processes to identify and implement business process improvements which ensure best practice, compliance, resolve recurring customer issues and align with the shared services service catalogue.
- Ensure organisational establishment data is accurately maintained within SAP SuccessFactors (EC) and undertake education activities on the correct functionality of its functionality with business areas as needed.

**About you**

To be considered for the role, you must:

- Have the ability to effectively influence and negotiate with stakeholders and provide succinct and clear expert advice to stakeholders using a range of strategies to engage and communicate. Uses chains of indirect influence to achieve outcomes.
- Be able to guide others to create a culture of collaboration; identifies and works to overcome barriers to knowledge or information sharing. Identifies opportunities to work with other teams to deliver outcomes.
- Communicate role expectations and purpose; recognises deviation from values, performance standards and provides timely and constructive feedback; Understands individual needs to optimise employee engagement.

**Mandatory requirements**
- Previous experience leading HR services teams to meet Service Level Agreement requirements and Key Performance Indicators.
- Experience with SAP SuccessFactors (EC) with a focus on data accuracy and reporting.
