This role involves setting up and operating basic machinery (edging machines, wet saws, grinders, glue dispensers) as well as packaging product. Your responsibilities will include:

- stone cutting and minor assembly
- stacking, packing, wrapping and dispatching of orders

To be the successful applicant you will have:

- be available to work shifts between 6am and 4.30pm Monday to Friday. Some Saturday work may be required in the peak periods
- machine operating experience
- mechanical aptitude
- familiarity with hand tools
- an excellent work ethic and proven punctuality and attendance
- the physical capability to lift and move stone tiles

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Flexible hours

Supplementary Pay:

- Overtime pay
- Penalty rates

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Brisbane, QLD: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Machine operating: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driver Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)
