**Machine Operator - Steel Industry**

**Our client**:
Based in Western & Southern suburbs of Brisbane, our clients specialise in sheet metal products and fabrication ranging from roofs, walls, gutters and other custom-made items. They are a large business who believe in promoting from within, offering training and career development opportunities for those who are looking for a place to work and feel valued.

**What will you do?**
Working within the manufacturing arm of the business, you will be working within a team environment which will see you;
- Operating machines which will cut, bend and mould sheet metal
- Operating software which will help make cuts into the steel and leaning how to use machines like roll-formers, flashings and perlins
- Working in either day or afternoon shifts
- Be available to work paid overtime as required

**Who are you?**
You will come with a great attitude and willingness to work, you may also possess;
- Prior experience working in manufacturing environments
- Previous machine operating experience
- Previous experience working in a heavy related industry
- LF forklift licence (highly regarded)
- Have reliable transport
- Have strong attention to detail and wanting to upskill yourself
- Willingness to learn and be patient with a process
- Available to work either day or afternoon shift
- Australian and permanent residents need only apply
