Programmed are currently seeking experienced Machine Operators for our National Client based in Eagle Farm, QLD. Our client is a leading manufacturer, processor, and distributor of steel products Australia wide and are offering fantastic hours, on the job training at excellent hourly rates

Programmed are currently seeking experienced Machine Operators for our National Client based in Eagle Farm, QLD.

Our client is a leading manufacturer, processor, and distributor of steel products Australia wide and are offering fantastic hours, on the job training at excellent hourly rates

**The Role;**
- Operating consoles for fixed plant machinery
- Basic welding - cutting, bending, and grinding
- Counterbalance forklift operation to load and unload trucks
- Use of overhead gantry crane to store metal and load trucks for deliveries
- Manual handling - moving / feeding products through machines
- Day (5:30AM starts) & Afternoon (2:00PM starts) available
- Monday to Friday work with overtime available

**What we are looking for**:

- Current and valid driver's license and reliable transport
- Current and valid forklift license and proven experience is highly regarded but NOT essential
- Previous machine operation experience
- Previous experience within a manufacturing environment is beneficial
- Safety conscious attitude
- Ability to work both in a team and autonomously
- Willingness to work in a hot / dusty environment
